This knitwear aims to express structure rather than visual embellishment.

The initial inspiration comes from the patterns in the sand, known as "samon," found in karesansui, Japanese dry landscape gardens.

It is based on the concept of representing the flow and expanse of water through lines drawn in the sand.

We referenced the wavy lines called "uneri,"

which depict a continuous, subtle movement on a tranquil water surface.

This series of lines is created using a tightly knit full cardigan stitch fabric.

By giving it a certain firmness rather than softness, it maintains a structured undulation.

The base structure adopted is seen in British summer shirts from the 1950s-60s.

By combining different contexts, it creates not a decorative fusion,

but a consistent structural connection.

The result is

an open-collared knit that is both expansive and restrained.

Available in two sizes: Large and Small.

Gender is not a consideration.
