This knit aims to express structure rather than visual ornamentation.

The initial inspiration comes from the sand patterns in Karesansui, a Japanese garden style.

It is based on the idea of expressing the flow and expanse of water through lines drawn in sand.

We referenced the wavy lines called "uneri" (undulations),

which indicate a state where slight movements continuously occur on a calm water surface.

This series of lines is formed by a tightly knitted full cardigan stitch.

By giving it a certain stiffness rather than softness, it maintains a swaying form.

The base structure adopts elements seen in British summer shirts from the 1950s to 1960s.

Combining different contexts not for decorative fusion,

but for a structurally consistent connection.

The result is

an open-collar knit that is both open and restrained.

Available in two sizes, large and small.

It is not based on gender.
