Why make clothes?

I've been in the world of clothing since my 20s.
Starting from sales
I ventured into the unconventional side of the clothing industry
and created my own store and brand.
It didn't go well.
To be precise,
it slowly fell apart over a long period.
Debts mounted,
I lost my store,
and everything was liquidated, bringing me back to square one.
Still,
I never stopped making clothes.
However, I didn't continue with the same old methods.
Because in producing a large quantity,
I had lost sight of why I made clothes in the first place.
What I make now
is only a limited number of garments.
Things that don't raise questions even after time passes,
things that stand on their own when worn,
without needing verbal explanation.
I only make those.
cleaveland is not a brand to increase your wardrobe.
It is a brand to make your relationship with clothing
simpler
and more certain.
